POSITION TITLE:          Network Technician 

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Maintain and monitor all district local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).  Responsible for all aspects of the network including servers, desktop systems, phones, fax, printers/copiers and other office systems.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:

Network certifications such as Network+ or equivalent experience

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Knowledge of LAN and WAN network maintenance and installation

Prior experience of network hardware/software applications including;

Server 2012/2016/2019, VMware 6.0 and above, Office 365 Administration, Active Directory, Group Policy Management, Backup and recovery. 

Experience:

2 years on a small to medium sized network

2 years Dell or Cisco networking experience

Aruba Wireless experience preferred

Palo Alto Firewall Experience preferred.
